After switching to a low-fat, plant-based, whole-food diet, Lara now eats whole-carbohydrate foods without experiencing dramatic blood glucose spikes, she enjoys her food, lowered her A1c levels into a healthy range, lost weight, and has more energy than she knows what to do with.
